We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that wemay be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.

Google Drive API

BS-APP uses the Google Drive API for the following operations:

• Creating an initial folder named BCAS Student App

• Creating files/folders in the BCAS Student App folder

• Listing files and folders in a tree-like navigation

• Previewing file content

• Displaying file metadata (last modifying user and date/time)

• Accessing the users shared folders when required by college administration

• Moving files/folders

• Sending files/folders to trash

• Copying files/folders

Details

A BCAS Student App folder is programmatically created upon registration via user interaction to encapsulate the operations performed by BS-APP.

BCAS Student App folder ID

Allows the user to sign in/out while maintaining a reference to their BCAS Student App folder.

Google basic account info

BS-APP uses Google basic account info for the following:

• Displaying a profile photo

• Enable user sessions (signing in/out)

• Displaying username

Google user ID:

Allows the user to sign in/out while maintaining a reference to their BCAS Student App folder.

Google Sheets API

BS-APP uses Google Sheets API for the following:

• Write to a Google Sheet
